4-6 weeks
Supine - head to one side. Arms and leg on face side more extended.
Prone - lies with arms flexed away from body; momentarily lifts chin.
Ventral suspension - head in line with body; arms and legs semi-flexed.
Pulled to sit, head lags. Hands fisted.
Follows a dangling ball 8-100 inches from eyes through quarter circle, side to midline.
Stills, may turn eyes or head to small bell, rattle, or voice 6 inches from ear.
Smiles back at mother or examiner.
